Business Operations & Growth Coordinator

Help bring structure, momentum, and organization to a growing organization at the forefront of change leadership.

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive right-hand person who can coordinate projects, operations, marketing, and growth activities, so our founder can focus on revenue, partnerships, speaking, and strategic initiatives.

The Change Leadership is a Toronto-based change leadership education and events organization, now in its eleventh year. Our ecosystem includes the annual Change Leadership Conference, the ACMP-accredited Change Leadership Accelerator, corporate change leadership workshops, the Change Leadership Conversations podcast, and a growing body of books and thought leadership reaching change leaders globally.

We're led by founder Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta, a change leadership strategist, speaker, and author with close to twenty years of global experience. As the business grows, we're building the team and infrastructure to match the brand we've already established.

A mix of coordination, operations, and momentum-keeping.

You don't need to be an expert in everything. You need to be resourceful, organized, and willing to figure things out.

Operations & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and action items
  • Follow up to ensure commitments are completed
  • Maintain trackers and operational systems

Event & Community Support

  • Support conference and event planning
  • Coordinate speakers, sponsors, and volunteers
  • Liaise with venues and vendors
  • Manage attendee communications

Marketing & Content Coordination

  • Coordinate social media calendars
  • Update website content and Canva materials
  • Support newsletters, blogs, and podcasts
  • Support content development and repurposing across platforms

Business Development Support

  • Research prospective clients and partners
  • Build and maintain prospect lists
  • Track leads and follow-up activities
  • Prepare materials for proposals

Research & Vendor Management

  • Research tools, platforms, and suppliers
  • Gather quotes and recommendations
  • Coordinate with contractors

Systems & Admin

  • Learn new platforms quickly
  • Coordinate meetings and schedules
  • Prepare documents and reports
  • Maintain organized records

Comfortable across the systems we run on.

You don't need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be genuinely tech-savvy and confident learning new platforms quickly. A few are non-negotiable for this role.

Non-Negotiable

  • Microsoft 365
  • AI savvy and enthusiast — uses AI tools to work smarter and faster
  • Website management
  • Social media savvy — comfortable guiding content and jumping in when needed

Strongly Preferred

  • Zapier (or similar automation tools)
  • ActiveCampaign or similar email/CRM platforms
  • Online event management platforms
  • Productivity & project tools (e.g. Asana, Notion, Trello)
